Propulsid
Propulsid, or cisapride, was a prescription heartburn medication used to relieve the symptoms of nighttime heartburn associated with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It was recalled by the FDA in March 2000. Propulsid relieved heartburn by moving acid through the digestive tract, thereby preventing it from flowing back into the esophagus.
